Snowcat Ridge: Seasonal Mrs. Claus Position

Join Snowcat Ridge, Florida's first Alpine Snow Park, as Mrs. Claus for our exciting holiday season. You'll lead Story Time with Mrs. Claus on Santa's Christmas Lane, captivating guests of all ages with heartwarming Christmas tales. This is a great opportunity to perform in a festive outdoor setting, use your storytelling talents, and create holiday memories that families will treasure for years.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Story Time with Mrs. Claus sessions throughout the day, reading Christmas stories with warmth and expression
• Stay in character as Mrs. Claus at all times while guests can see or hear you
• Welcome children and families, invite them to join story time, and engage them with questions and holiday conversation
• Pose for photos with guests between story sessions
• Keep the story time area tidy, with books and props organized and ready
• Coordinate break times with Santa and your supervisor so guests always have holiday characters to visit
• Answer guest questions about Santa's Christmas Lane and direct them to Santa's Cozy Cabin, Santa's Gift Shoppe, and the Peppermint Play Zone
• Report guest concerns, lost children, or safety issues to a supervisor immediately
• Maintain a neat, complete Mrs. Claus appearance throughout your shift

Work Areas You May Be Assigned To

• Story Time with Mrs. Claus: Read Christmas stories to children and families on Santa's Christmas Lane
• Santa's Christmas Lane: Greet guests, pose for photos, and spread holiday cheer

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Strong, expressive reading-aloud voice that carries in an outdoor setting
• Warm, patient, and joyful with young children and families
• Able to stay in character and handle shy or upset children with kindness
• Willing to complete a background check
• Reliable with punctuality and following instructions
• Available for weekends, evenings, and holidays through December 24
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods while in costume and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Helpful but Not Required

• Experience in theater, storytelling, character performance, teaching, or childcare
• Experience portraying Mrs. Claus or another holiday character
• Customer service, hospitality, or theme park experience
