Security Officer - Part Time 3rd Shift (Weekend)Job SummaryThe Part-Time Security Officer helps maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. This position monitors facility access, performs routine property checks, and serves as a visible presence during assigned shifts. The hours for this position are 12:00am - 8:00am Saturday and Sunday.Job Responsibilities Monitor and control access to company facilities.Provide entry assistance as needed to visitors, contractors, and vendors.Conduct periodic walks of the facility and parking areas.Monitor security cameras and report unusual activity.Complete basic shift logs and incident reports, as needed.Secure doors, gates, and buildings during non-operating hours.Respond to employee or visitor questions and provide assistance as needed.Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, or policy violations to management.Support emergency procedures when necessary, including assisting with emergency response procedures, including evacuations, severe weather events, and medical emergencies. Other job duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Driver's license required.Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated.Capable of walking long distances while securing the facility.Good communication and customer service skills.Ability to use basic computer programs and security systems.Previous security, military, manufacturing, or customer service experience is a plus.Nidec Minster will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
