Senior Executive Recruiter / Business Development (360 Desk)

Accounting & Finance | Permanent Placement | New York City

The Opportunity

As a Senior Executive Recruiter, you'll have the opportunity to build and manage your own permanent placement desk within Accounting & Finance, working with clients across financial services and the broader corporate market.

You'll be joining a growing division with established client relationships, access to resources across the firm, and leadership committed to investing in talented producers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business and build lasting relationships with clients across the Accounting & Finance market.

• Leverage existing relationships and identify opportunities to expand Madison Davis's client portfolio.
\n
• Partner with hiring managers and senior finance leaders to understand their hiring needs and deliver effective recruiting solutions.
\n
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from identifying and engaging candidates through interviews, negotiations, and successful placements.
\n
• Recruit Accounting & Finance professionals across corporate accounting, FP&A, audit, tax, financial reporting, controllership, and senior finance leadership.
\n
• Build and maintain a strong network of clients and candidates that generates repeat business and long-term growth.
\n
• Collaborate with leadership and colleagues to identify new market opportunities and expand our presence.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of agency recruiting or staffing experience, ideally within Accounting & Finance.
\n
• Experience in permanent placement recruiting, executive search, or a related professional staffing discipline.
\n
• A track record of developing client relationships, generating business, and successfully closing placements.
\n
• Strong business development instincts and a genuine interest in building a profitable desk.
\n
• Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
\n
• An entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic, and motivation to succeed in a performance-driven environment.
