What you would do

Typical responsibilities could include:

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and control system issues in customer facilities
• Performing field repairs, maintenance and system integration work according to design standards and technical specifications
• Using AutoCAD and technical documentation to understand system layouts, design intent and installation requirements
• Conducting testing protocols to verify system performance and document results
• Collaborating with engineering and design teams to elevate complex issues and support root-cause analysis
• Maintaining detailed technical records and field reports to support manufacturing and quality teams
• Supporting customers with system commissioning, training and operational guidance

What you could bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

• 2–5 years of field service, technical support, or field application experience in engineering environments
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical or controls systems in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Proficiency with AutoCAD for reading technical drawings and understanding system design
• Working knowledge of testing protocols, quality standards and design specifications
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites across the United States
